Polycom launches Polycom Studio

Polycom has announced the launch of its first video solution for huddle rooms just in time for ISE 2019.

Polycom Studio is a plug-and-play USB device that ties together their world-class expertise in video and audio to create an immersive, rich video conferencing experience in smaller meeting spaces.

The product allows simple upgrade from existing first generation huddle rooms which combined numerous accessories and devices to achieve the solution.

And it’s easy to use: Simply plug your laptop in via USB, choose your platform, and go. Polycom Studio boasts dynamic visuals, automatic speaker tracking and automatic group framing. Polycom Studio is tested to work well with various ecosystem collaboration partners, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Cisco Webex.

Polycom’s enterprise-ready manageability makes it simple for IT to manage Polycom Studio through the Polycom Device Management Service and RealPresence Resource Manager.

proAV has been awarded with Gold membership of Constructionline, the UK’s largest register of contractors, consultants and material suppliers for the construction industry.

Constructionline was created over twenty years ago as a Government department and has been supporting thousands of businesses by providing buyers across both public and private sectors with a pool of high-quality suppliers with whom they can confidently engage.

To achieve Gold proAV was assessed in terms of environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies. Some of these policies form part of the Cabinet Office Selection Questionaire (SQ), which the public sector is expected to comply with.

In addition, all Gold members are assessed for SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) health and safety certification.

proAV Expands Communications Team

proAV Limited, Europe’s largest AV systems integrator has announced the appointment of Amy Amesbury to the position of PR and marketing manager. 

Based at head office in Egham, Amy will be responsible for leading the marketing team, driving marketing operations, strengthening relationships with proAV partners and promoting the exceptional work of the proAV team.

Amy joins proAV from Crestron where she held various positions, most recently EMEA marketing manager. She has over five years of industry experience and prior to that worked for 15 years in consumer PR agencies across London.
