Wrap Up London

Wrap Up London is an annual coat collection campaign run by Hands On London. Every November, the charity collects lightly worn and unwanted coats to help people in need keep warm over the winter period.

The charity is needed now more than ever before and here are the areas where we can make a difference:- 

• London currently faces higher levels of homelessness than the rest of the country (source: Homeless Link). 
• The need to support refugees has increased as part of the Afghanistan resettlement scheme. 
• Women and children experiencing and escaping domestic violence increased during the pandemic (source: NCDV).

A coat doesn't only provide warmth, it is often a gateway for someone to access services to help them get back on their feet. It is clear, a person’s spare coat not only helps keep a person warm, but can also keep them alive.
