Iggi Interior Design
Holiday House

21/12/17

Visitors to the UK's inaugural Holiday House London event were mesmerised by the stunning large format display and digital art installation that dominated the main media room in the vast design showhouse in St John’s Wood.

Held outside the US for the first time, Holiday House is an inspirational showhouse that enables leading interior designers and lifestyle brands to showcase their talent and designs whilst raising vital funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in the process. This is the objective of the event’s co-chair, philanthropist and breast cancer survivor, Joyce Misrahi, and is inline with the founder’s intention that the event focuses as much on celebrating life as on fighting breast cancer.

The collaboration between proAV, digital art platform, Blackdove, and notable British interior designer, Susan White, owner of Iggi Interior Design and the name behind the powerful concept, saw proAV’s 3.64x2.05m large format display fill the entire wall of the media room in a revolutionary move for a domestic space. The screen and mounting architecture were generously supplied by proAV partners, Samsung and Peerless AV, and contributed to the installation being hailed a major success, as Mark Roberts, proAV Residential Sales Manager revealed:

‘Of the 25 individually designed rooms that ran across the showhouse’s two palatial mansions, Susan’s was a particularly popular destination with visitors,’ he explained. ‘She captured their imagination on a number of levels and enhanced it with her powerful vision of a large display running amazing digital art within a domestic environment that should, in her words, be fun, visually awakening and make people stop, look and listen.’
