In 2016, the LME unveiled its newly built ‘Ring’, the London Metal Exchange’s openoutcry trading floor. proAV was commissioned by AV specialist consultant, CMS, to equip the LME’s new building with a world class, integrated audio visual solution across the iconic Ring trading floor facility. The focus was on delivering the industry’s most dynamic display technologies and audio systems available in the market.

Now complete the LME Ring is delivering numerous advantages including:

Our solution
The key AV technologies that feature within the LME Ring include the following:
- 2 SiliconCore Technology LED Peony 2.6mm pitch 4.5m wide x 1.5m high to display trading prices
- 2 55” Samsung LED large format display wall in 5x1 configuration
- Omnivex digital signage and content management system for distribution across display screens, including complex software infrastructure for content playback
- 7 PCs to gather content and data streams and local PCs
- IPTV distribution system boxes
- Crestron DM infrastructure, including Crestron 32x32 matrix switcher, Matrox video processors for compression, scaling, image manipulation and display onto video walls
- 2 55” preview monitors within the control room
- Professional audio system, including Bose sound system, Polycom SoundStructure audio management system, JBL monitor speakers within the control room...
