Our client, a global natural resources company required an innovative technology solution in their new luxury office space in Berkeley Square, London. The design needed to include a cloud based UC/VC platform for linking devices locally, plus interactive presentation screens and IPTV distribution throughout.
This global natural resources company, required an innovative technology solution for their new luxury office space in Berkeley Square, London. The space needed to combine private office accommodation with room for a 20-person boardroom, multipurpose office spaces for staff, CEO office space and a creatively flexible way to enable 200-person auditorium setup options. The technology needed to include a cloud based UC/VC platform for linking devices locally, plus interactive presentation screens and IPTV distribution throughout.
With
the capacity for around six rooms, the new space needed to be elegant and stylish,
whilst also exceptionally flexible to meet the vision and requirements of the
company. The 200-seater auditorium area was designed to be an amalgamation of
existing rooms and hallways, therefore all the technologies utilised for the
project needed to be flexible and versatile.
The design needed to acknowledge the varied technical capabilities of the staff. Building a system they could operate easily and independently from their IT team was key to the usability of the space. Transition and training was an important part of the handover process enabling all staff to feel comfortable with the level of understanding and control they had over the space.
Our solution
In conjunction with the interior partner, our project team planned a scalable and cost-effective solution based around a series of scenarios. Key to the solution provided, was that the six defined work spaces were all able to be broken down into one large space, for Auditorium-style events, with three individual configuration possibilities.
Individual spaces feature Samsung interactive
displays with the addition of Displaylite touch overlay. For flexibility those
in ‘moveable’ rooms were not a wall mounted but displayed on a Peerless AV
collaboration cart for easy manoeuvrability.
Wireless collaboration was provided by Polycom Pano with RealPresence Group and EagleEye cameras and the audio consisted of Shure ceiling array microphones and Sonance ceiling speakers alongside Shure lapel mics for their events.
