Belden CICs are designed with flexibility in mind which meant proAV utilised a Crestron NVX AV over IP system to manage all presentation sources, video conferencing system, digital signage players and HD cameras. The routing of AV sources is managed by a centrally located 48 port layer 3 managed network switch to enable local and remote sources to be selected to the display in each area via wall mounted Crestron touch screens.

The largest zone in the Santa Clara CIC is Lobby area where “The Book” digital video wall display demonstrates content driven by Pixilabs players and created by design agency 2Heads. A Samsung display mounted to the rear of “The Book” provides a further content outlet, as well as two ‘Solution Pods’ utilising Samsung interactive displays on three sides. 

The Validation Lab focuses on simulating, testing and demonstrating Belden products and solutions and is kitted out with a 92” 2x2 Samsung video wall with a Solstice Mersive Pod for wireless presentation and an HD PTZ camera to enable broadcasting and streaming of content to all other locations in the CIC and other CICs across the globe. All managed by a Crestron processor in Germany.

The Broadcast Webinar Room is used for webinar streaming and uses a Samsung display, Aver PTZ camera and Solstice Mersive Pod to provide wireless presentation functionality. An interactive Samsung display is mounted to a mobile trolley for flexibility and a portable Wolfvision camera can capture close-up product shots during the webinars. Wall mounted QSC loudspeakers manage the presentation audio whilst a wall mounted Nureva microphone array captures the presenters’ dialogue.

The PoC Room features a dual screen video conferencing solution designed for presentations from multiple sources via a Solstice Mersive Pod wireless presentation solution and MS Teams video conferencing through a Poly G7500 system. Two Samsung displays mounted side by side provide the main front of house display supported by a Poly VC camera, QSC loudspeakers for audio, Nureva microphone array for conferencing audio all controlled via a Crestron touch panel. 

The Training Room also provides the ability to present in multiple sources, and video conference using MS Teams. A 75” Samsung Flip interactive screen enables presenters to interact with and annotate over content in isolation or simultaneously display the main content from the Dual 98” Samsung monitors. Again, content sharing is facilitated by the Solstice Mersive Pod and controlled via Crestron.
