Centre Buildings Redevelopment
Founded in 1895 for the ‘betterment of society’, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the world’s foremost social science universities, ranking second internationally for its Social Science and Management subjects.
proAV has enjoyed a long and rewarding partnership with LSE having completed several exciting integrated AV projects in recent years, including an all-embracing AV scheme that was rolled out across the New Academic Building. This new project, Centre Building Redevelopment (CBR), is at the location of Houghton Street and Clare Market and involved the demolition of several buildings; East Building, The Anchorage, Clare Market, and St Clement’s (core and eastern wing), to create 13 floors of innovative, flexible teaching and learning space.
"All of these integration projects were completed with a high degree of success. In particular proAV's rack build is the best in the business and also we were more than happy with the quality of the installation engineers who approached the project with an appropriate level of flexibility yet attention to detail."
