Genesis is a new luxury car brand that has been
launched in Korea and USA among other markets in 2015. In 2021 Genesis made its debut into the highly competitive European market by launching in Germany, UK and Switzerland simultaneously in the summer of ‘21.
The intention is to revolutionise the traditional ways of doing things in automotive, to make ownership stress free and built around the customer with the Korean attention to detail and car.
The Genesis Studio, is more than just a showroom, is the space where people can experience Genesis vehicles, where technology and arts converge with thoughtful hospitality. It is a place for sharing inspiration, making meaningful connections, and creating memorable moments. A local community space, located in the most premium & luxury shopping districts of the cities, creating a brand identity that embraces local culture and taste.
At the Studios, the polished refinement of a beautifully engineered Genesis vehicle is surrounded by the raw essence of the architecture materials like wood, steel and concrete.
This is the third dedicated Studio in the UK designed as a technologically advanced retail environment to promote their cutting-edge automotive solutions.
Following in the footsteps of Battersea Power
Station and Westfield in London, Genesis chose Edinburgh for their first retail
space in Scotland, reinforcing their commitment and growth in the region building
on their flagship sponsorship of the Genesis Scottish Open Golf tournament.
Our solution
proAV were engaged by ISG’s Retail Division to provide the AV design and integration which included installation of a Unilumin fine pitch 1.5mm LED video wall, 4.8m x 2.7m, to showcase impactful creative assets developed by Genesis and then further display solutions from Samsung were added alongside a distributed background music system with loudspeakers, amp and music player from Biamp.
Switching and distribution of sources is managed through Kramer solutions, controlled via Samsung tablets, and content sharing / wireless collaboration is made possible using Mersive’s Solstice Pod 3 platform.
Unique to this new location was the creation of an
event space on the first floor with a large format Samsung display for marketing
content playback, Biamp ceiling speakers and a Sennheiser radio mic for
presenters, content sharing via laptop, tablet or rack based PC is enabled via
Mersive Solstice Pod Gen3.
