Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, this company acquired this building in Canary Wharf, which adjoins the organisation’s existing Canada Square headquarters building as part of a strategic relocation programme. Occupying 200,000 sq. ft. and the top eight floors of the building, the organisation now accommodates its entire London workforce and partners in a central location from which it can provide a high quality working and collaborative environment for staff and clients.
Following a successful tender process, proAV was commissioned to install a sophisticated professional AV solution into the client’s new premises in Canary Wharf. The comprehensive brief called for a scheme that would equip business space on floors seven to 13 with pioneering audio visual technologies, including digital signage, IPTV distribution, dynamic display systems, including large format video walls, projection equipment, conferencing systems, control and automation technologies, professional audio and a background music system.
The areas covered by proAV’s integrated AV scheme include multiple meeting, project and video conferencing rooms, collaboration areas and a flexible collaboration space with quadruple arrangements, café/servery, the fabulous double height Winter Garden presentation space, Cascade Stairs and associated breakout space and public areas as well as executive meeting room, private rooms and presentation suite on the 13th floor, the organisations executive space.
A key feature of the project is the U-Collaborate suite on Level 13, a facility which supports a company initiative to help participating clients from across sectors unlock creative potential within a vibrant, flexible environment through close collaboration and rapid learning techniques. This £1.5m space now boasts the UK’s most substantial matrix and comprises a five-way divisible/combined space with video walls and interactive screen 4k mobile display screens with customised interactive overlays. A vast presentation space forms part of the U-Collaborate suite and, by projecting content onto the video wall and mobile screens, guests are able to interact with it and then revert to collaborate in pre-defined areas.
The client now enjoys all the benefits of a bespoke, premium tier support service under a national Service Level Agreement to ensure its business-critical AV systems remain working at optimum functionality and expertly managed by proAV’s professional technical AV engineers. The client has now transferred support for its entire UK AV network (25 sites) to proAV and its service provision is subject to further growth as the company expands its digital estate through the current financial year.
