Operations - Hire and Events Manager
South East and London
Due to increasing demand from our established corporate client base, we are now seeking an experienced Hire and Events Manager.
The requirements and responsibilities for this role will include the following:
• Have excellent communication, time management, presentation and organizational skills
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Be able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
• Have a positive and adaptable approach to problem solving
• Account management
• Liaison with other internal departments, clients and suppliers
• Have an understanding of budgeting and financial management
• Have a technical understanding of AV products / systems
• Planning, organizing and controlling of event
• Coordination of all event activities at the facility
• Liaising with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements;
• Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers)
• Agreeing to and managing a budget
• Researching markets to identify opportunities
• Marketing
• Project Management ability
• Proven track record in management of high level events
• Co-ordinating and managing groups of companies at overseas events
• Liaising with exhibition organisers, government officials, stand contractors and other third party services such as designers
• Developing contacts to improve the event in the future
• Post-event de-brief with Client
