proAV's high tech audio visual solution for Standard Bank's new landmark offices in Gresham Street in London has reached the finals of InAVate magazine's InAVation Awards 2010.

Entered into the awards' Best Corporate Facility category, the stunning project demanded some of the industry's most exciting AV technologies to complement the building's architecturally and operationally imposing workspaces. proAV duly obliged and installed a range of high impact dynamic display systems, fully-interactive audio and video conferencing, presentation and communication systems, a world clock system and site wide TV distribution.

One of the highlights of the project was the new boardroom, which features a bespoke boardroom table with revolutionary motorised pop-up repeater displays recessed within a raised central section, gooseneck microphones, LED 'look at me' illumination and next generation controls.

“It was certainly the most exciting project that was entered - naturally we're hoping that the judging panel will agree and that well come back from ISE with another award for our display cabinet next month!”

Working closely with specialist AV consultants, CMS, proAV's sophisticated solution was designed to enhance the international bank's collaborative working environment that spans a global network of operations.The new system embraces every area of the Gresham Street building, including offices, meeting rooms and boardroom, crisis and learning room, client lounge and dining room that are located across four floors.

The InAVation Awards are now in their fourth year and celebrate the very best in the professional AV systems industry throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond. The awards ceremony will take place on 3rd February at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam.

A team from proAV will be at ISE next month and are hoping to return victorious from the awards ceremony.

'The Standard Bank project was the latest in a series of high profile AV installations that we completed in 2009,' confirms Mike Phillpot, proAV's Marketing & Multimedia Coordinator. 'It was certainly the most exciting project that was entered into InAVation 2010 - naturally we're hoping that the judging panel will agree and that we'll come back from ISE with another award for our display cabinet next month!'
