The Lloyds Banking Group

The Lloyds Banking Group is one of the UK's leading financial services organisations. It provides a range of banking services to personal and corporate customers and its activities are centred around three core businesses: retail banking, insurance, investments and wholesale and international banking. It has operations in 27 countries and employs over 60,000 staff in the UK alone.

proAV was commissioned to deliver an extensive suite of top quality audiovisual, video and audio conferencing, television and managed content distribution solutions for Lloyd's new offices in London, including training rooms, conference rooms and trading floors.

A number of specialist areas needed to be incorporated within the scheme, including a reception, cafe, gymnasium, client entertainment suite, divisible multifunctional auditorium with facilities for the press, client facing meeting rooms and an international trading floor with sophisticated Information display and time-keeping functionalities.

proAV's design, technical and project management teams successfully delivered this integrated solution on time, within budget and according to specification. This was primarily due to the teams' use of innovative technologies which were underpinned by our cutting edge design and build resources.

Technical Details

 

A wide range of video and audio conferencing facilities, television distribution systems and managed content distribution systems were installed within the Lloyds building, including:

  • Effective, fast communication and dissemination of information to staff
  • The ability to display and distribute mission-critical information about events which could drastically affect the market to the trading team in an effective and controlled manner
