Suffolk County Council governs seven district and borough councils and 419 parish and town councils that comprise 75 democratically-elected councillors. The Council is responsible for a number of major services which are provided countywide and range from business and trading standards, education and environment to public safety, social care and transport.
proAV was asked to deliver a professional audio visual delegate system for Suffolk County Council’s Council Chambers and Committee Rooms. The facilities are used to host cabinet and committee meetings on a range of issues including economic development, community services, resources, finance and performance.

A sophisticated 90-person delegate system incorporating fully-interactive voting, projection, voice reinforcement and camera facilities was installed within the Council Chambers. Two Committee Rooms were equipped with projectors, VCR, DVD, PC interfacing, loudspeakers and wireless controls.
An integrated solution was delivered on time, within budget and according to specification. The result is an outstanding range of world class technologies and equipment that have helped Suffolk County Council deliver a more accessible and interactive experience for the councillors and partners who regularly use these high level assembly facilities.
