RBS Aviation Capital

Dublin, Ireland

A subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, RBS Aviation Capital provides high value aerospace capital solutions, including the leasing of aircraft and engines to airlines.

Founded in 2001 and based in Dublin, RBS Aviation Capital has global offices located in London, New York, China, Hong Kong and Japan.

proAV was commissioned to deliver extensive professional audio visual and video conferencing systems for RBS Aviation Capital's newly-refurbished headquarters building in Dublin, Ireland.

Our design, technical and project management teams deployed a cutting-edge solution throughout the building, including a sophisticated audio and video conferencing system, fully interactive multimedia presentation facilities and building-wide PA and TV distribution systems.

We successfully delivered this extensive and highly integrated AV solution on time, within budget and according to specification.


Technical Details

 

proAV equipped a number of specialist areas within the RBS Aviation building with professional AV technologies, including:

Reception

  • 61" plasma display to show television, DVD and internal presentations
  • 50" DNP holographic screen, suspended from the ceiling, with the projected display from an in-ceiling concealed projector
  • Building-wide PA Speech Reinforcement and paging facility
  • Wide range of AV inputs including video, TV, rack-mounted PCs, DVD
  • TV distribution delivered by Cabletime MediaStar via SWS infrastructure
  • All control via a wireless Crestron LCD touch panel

Cafe

  • 40" LCD display showing TV, with integrated audio
  • Audio and video input sources including background music system, iPod wall-docking station, music server, TV and PC interfacing
  • All control via an integrated Crestron LCD touch panel

Auditorium

A 63 person auditorium with full multimedia presentation facilities, divisible into three separate audio visual presentation rooms was equipped with the following:

  • Main display comprising a triple array of 65" HD LCD displays
  • Two further drop-down ceiling recessed LCD screens, acting as support monitors
  • Fully integrated video and audio conferencing
  • Inputs including, DVD/VHS/HDD, TV, PC connectivity with Microsoft X Flight simulator software
  • Delegate microphone system
  • Lectern with integrated microphone and Crestron touch panel
  • All control via wireless and wired Crestron LCD touch panels

Boardroom

  • Twin 61" plasma displays
  • 50" DNP holographic screen, suspended from the ceiling, with the projected display from an in-ceiling concealed projector
  • Fully integrated Tandberg video and audio conferencing
  • Integrated table microphones
  • Inputs to include network PC, VHS/DVD/HDD and TV

Internal meeting rooms

  • Equipped with 61" plasma displays, video conferencing systems and numerous inputs to facilitate internal staff meetings and business conferences

Executive office

  • Tandberg desktop video conferencing unit with 17" PC widescreen display

Innovation room

  • 3 x 32" LCD displays mounted beneath the raised flooring system, each connected to a remotely-based PC base unit to create digital visual effects within the floor
