The London Stock Exchange (LSE) sits at the centre of the global financial market and is home to some of the largest, most successful and dynamic companies in the world. It has a long history of integrity, expertise and market knowledge and has become the world's most international stock exchange, with around 3,000 companies from over 70 countries trading on its markets.

Over 400 firms, mainly investment banks and stockbrokers, are members of the London Stock Exchange.

proAV was asked to deliver extensive professional audio visual, display and broadcasting systems for the LSE’s media studios following the organisation’s relocation to its building in Paternoster Square in the heart of the city’s financial district.

An innovative technological AV solution was required to complement this demanding environment. So, proAV deployed sophisticated audio visual, broadcasting and display equipment that incorporated the industry’s latest cutting-edge technology throughout the new building.

The solution our design team devised includes high-impact dynamic display systems, wide-ranging broadcasting, camera and recording and storage systems that were installed throughout the LSE’s own television studios, from where live financial broadcasts are transmitted throughout the day.

In addition to these broadcast facilities, featured equipment includes a vast video wall backdrop to display up-to-date graphical representation of market information, SD camera systems with SDI signal routing distribution, interfacing for remote points for camera connectivity and integrated studio lighting.

proAV was also commissioned to supply and install cutting edge ticker systems to provide graphical emulation of live market information, including a 13m long elliptical ticker (with visibility from street outside the building), 5 smaller in-ceiling tickers in the reception areas and a further elliptical unit set within the restaurant ceiling bulkhead detail.

Our design, technical and project management teams delivered this specialist integrated solution on time, within budget and according to specification.
