proAV was asked to design and install a highly sophisticated suite of entertainment, environmental and security systems with associated controls within a development of 11 luxury apartments in Kensington, London.

Commissioned by Ibex Interiors, one of the UK's leading specialist construction companies, proAV devised a series of intelligent home automation solutions to harmonise the new properties' technologies and create a fully-interactive, future-proofed living experience for the occupiers of each unit.

Key technologies include audio visual systems for home entertainment and multimedia suites, automation distribution board panels and control systems that incorporate state-of-the-art technologies and equipment, including wireless touch screens, in-wall media centres and room motion censors.

The project to equip all 11 luxury residential units with world-class home automation systems was completed on time, within budget and according to our client's precise specification. 

All properties were equipped with the AV industry"s most innovative home automation technologies throughout according to the following scheme and including the following key equipment:

Unit 1 

• Automation distribution board panels, including 4-channel lighting dimmer modules, 8-channel high voltage relay modules, control modules, distribution block and hub
• Control systems, including AV2 control system processor, ethernet and infrared modules, 6” wireless touch screen, RF wireless receiver, 4” and 8” in-wall touch panel media centres, data switch and wall and ceiling mounted motion censors 
• AV systems, including 6-zone audio amplifier expanders, AM/FM2 tuner track chassis and cards, iPod docking station, balanced audio and video receivers, HDMI extender, surround sound receiver, BluRay player and ceiling loudspeakers
