Allen and Overy is an international and integrated law firm employing approximately 5000 staff, including more than 470 partners. These teams work in a network of offices in over 35 major worldwide centres which are supported by a number of International Desks located in regions without offices.

The firm's London-based lawyers provide an unparalleled advisory service to the world's leading businesses, financial institutions, governments and private clients. Some 2500 staff currently work in two locations in London, One Bishop's Square and Bank Street in the heart of the Dockland's business district.

proAV provided Allen and Overy with extensive and fully-integrated audio visual, video conferencing, display, control and communications solutions and supports these wide ranging systems within its London offices.

The supported systems occupy presentation venues, offices, meeting rooms, training areas, restaurants and a gymnasium and encompass a suite of professional AV technologies.

Our service and support solution

proAV supports Allen and Overy's extensive audio visual and video conferencing facilities that are located throughout these two central London landmark buildings

proAV's onsite engineering team are permanently based at Bishops Square in central London and Bank Street in London's Docklands, where a team of five technicians coordinate and support all presentational facilities including auditorium, audio and video conferencing events.

As part of this managed service, proAV's resident team is responsible for all non-linear editing productions. Working from two dedicated broadcast-specified suites linked to the audio visual control room and using Avid's innovative audio and video software technology, the team acquires video from recorded meetings, presentations, training sessions and live auditorium events, edits acquired material in the editing suite and authors them onto DVDs with corporate branding, logos, titles and chapters etc.

The team produces 8000 DVDs each year and, in addition, creates Window Media Files for use on Allen and Overy's internal website, with secure access by staff and clients. A further 2000 CDs with transcribed audio recordings from meetings and presentations are also created each year. The proAV support team is also the first contact for IT support for systems located at both London offices.

proAV's technicians and engineers, both site and office-based, provide operational user support to these high profile locations, performing preventative maintenance, user training and 24/7 back-up and telephone helpdesk support.

This is a comprehensive service and support solution, which is focussed on the specific needs and requirements of Allen and Overy.

These central London locations are equipped with the pioneering AV systems and all are supported by proAV on a premium service level agreement
