In autumn 2006 Allen and Overy relocated new landmark offices at One Bishop's Square in a move which reflected this prestigious law firm's UK success to date and its continued investment in future operations.

In advance of this major relocation and as part of the office development process, proAV was invited to present designs for an innovative audio visual scheme that incorporated building-wide communication, presentation, display, meeting and training facilities.

The proAV scheme drew on some of the industry's most dynamic technologies with a wide range of high quality hardware that were commission on time, within budget and precisely in accordance with the client's specification.

A number of specialist areas were equipped as part of this building-wide audio visual solution, including

Divisible 300 Seat Auditorium

• Triple Christie projector 7.8m wide rear projection blended display with scaleable simultaneous multiple picture in picture capability
• Multi format media emulation including PC, DVD, SVHS, Betacam, High Definition hard disc, video conferencing via codec farm, Sky HD
• Programme sound and voice reinforcement with DSP control and Dolby Digital format reproduction
• Video recording, storage and editing.

Auditorium Lobby Area

• Incorporating Panasonic projection displays providing digital signage emulation

Foyer

• Incorporating NEC integrated LCD displays for the emulation of digital signage

Gymnasium

• Incorporating multiple displays and cardio theatre system

• 10 no. client configurable meeting rooms incorporating a combination of projection and flat screen plasma based technology with video and audio conferencing capability and integrated control with remote management
